Operator help
  • 01How do payments work on Kofa?

You can pay a 30% deposit at booking and the balance 48 hours before your trip start, or pay in full at booking. We accept Paystack, Flutterwave, Visa, Mastercard, and Verve. Funds are held in escrow until the operator delivers your trip — operators are paid 48h after completion.

  • 02What's the cancellation policy?

Tours marked “Free cancellation” can be cancelled up to 7 days before start for a full refund. Between 7 and 48 hours before start you'll receive a 50% refund. Within 48 hours, deposits are non-refundable unless the operator cancels — in which case you're refunded in full automatically.

  • 03How do you verify operators?

Every operator submits CAC registration, NTDC licensing where applicable, insurance certificates, and at least three reference checks before being listed. Verified status is reviewed yearly and revoked immediately on a substantiated safety complaint.

  • 04What if my operator doesn't show up?

Contact our 24/7 trip-day team via email or call +234 1 700 0000. If we can't reach the operator within 30 minutes of your meetpoint time, we'll either rebook you on a comparable trip or refund the full booking from escrow.

  • 05Can I edit a review I've posted?

Yes — within 14 days of posting you can edit star ratings, written content, and photos. After 14 days the review is locked to preserve trust. Operators can post a single public reply but cannot edit your review.

  • 06How do I change the currency I see prices in?

Tap the currency switcher in the top header (NGN by default). Kofa supports NGN, USD, GBP, and EUR. All charges are processed in NGN — non-NGN displays are based on the day's mid-market rate.
